Ya, we’re locked up. But this isn’t a spring break, and principals, teachers, superintendents, kids, and parents need to stay the course. Kids must stick to a regimen. If you want them to learn, build coping skills, and stay normal.
On March 17, 2020 we hosted a Zoom Meeting to train Santa Barbara teachers how to use Zoom Meetings. We recorded that event for you. Please enjoy and share this link to all educators. Zoom is now free (during the crisis) and unlimited for all K-12 teachers. Keep education moving forward! Tell your teacher, principal, district and communities about this amazing opportunity!
Zoom is temporarily lifting the 40-minute time limit on free Basic accounts for schools affected by the Coronavirus. This means you can literally run classes for all those that have Internet and a computer virtually and remotely. Up to 25 kids can share the screen concurrently and chat with their teachers live, with full video support and even quizzes can be administered. A teacher with a legitimate school email address can sign up directly or the school or district can do it. Either way, you can get up and running FAST!
